The drain needs to be pushed. This is activated by pressing and holding 2 buttons simultaneously e.g DELICATE + DUAL CONTROL. Depending on your model, the 2 buttons may be different. If your model does not have a CANCEL & DRAIN option, start a cycle, let it run for 45 seconds, then press and hold 1 button for 30 seconds. You will then be prompted to press the 2nd button to start the cycle again.
If you do not want to wait for the drain to complete, you can use the “Drain” button on the back of the unit to drain the battery. To do this, hold the button down for a few seconds and then release it. When you are ready to charge your battery again, release the 1st button and wait until the second button is pressed.
